Hartwell & Moss

Hartwell & Moss is a fictional landscape design studio we invented in full, from the founding story and team to award wins and client testimonials, to demonstrate the standard we bring to trade websites. Every word, the hand-drawn SVG identity and the botanical illustration set were created for the project, alongside licensed photography that was individually reviewed and credited.

The build is Next.js with every page statically prerendered. The hero is a generative canvas animation: a meadow of swaying grasses and drifting pollen rendered in real time, with a still frame served to visitors who prefer reduced motion. Case studies, a planting journal and a working enquiry form round out a site that reads like a real studio because it is built like one.

Under the surface it carries the full technical spec we ship on client work: per-page metadata, Open Graph images, JSON-LD structured data for local search, generated sitemap and robots, a complete favicon set and accessibility from skip links to reduced-motion support. It deploys to Vercel and adapts to any trade that needs to showcase its work.
