Copperwheel Coffee Roasters

Copperwheel is our showcase build for food and drink brands: a complete, deployed website for a fictional Sheffield coffee roastery. An espresso-dark design system, a canvas hero of rising steam and embers, original SVG label art for the range, and structured data down to the individual coffees show how much brand a small producer site can carry.

Copperwheel Coffee Roasters is a fictional speciality roastery we invented in full, from the founders and their rebuilt 1958 roaster to the wholesale partners and cupping routine, to show what we can do for food and drink businesses. The grinding-wheel identity, six coffee bag labels and every word of copy were created for the project, alongside licensed photography that was individually reviewed and credited.

The design is deliberately industrial: espresso black and copper, hard borders, uppercase display type and a ticker of origins. The hero layers a real-time canvas animation of rising steam and glowing embers over a darkened espresso pour, with a still frame for visitors who prefer reduced motion. Range, subscriptions, wholesale, roastery story and journal each get their own purpose-built page.

Technically it ships the same spec as our client work: statically prerendered Next.js, per-page metadata and canonicals, JSON-LD structured data down to individual products, generated sitemap and robots, a complete favicon set, and accessibility throughout. Deployed on Vercel with automatic deploys from GitHub.
