Fine Club App
Fine Club is our own app, designed and built end to end. An admin writes a rulebook of lighthearted fines, issues them to the squad, and every fine builds a shared pot for the end of season do. What makes it different are the games: players can spin a wheel instead of paying, challenge a mate to a coin toss duel, or take a fine to Kangaroo Court and let the squad vote.
Services
Website
Visit siteFine Club gives any squad, football, rugby, cricket, netball or just a group of mates, one place to run its fines. The admin sets up the club, picks a starter pack or writes the rulebook from scratch, and invites players with a code or a QR. Every fine lands on the feed for the whole squad to react to, feeds a pot that saves toward a goal, and moves the player up a live fine table that nobody wants to top.
The challenges are the heart of it. Spin the wheel gambles a fine on honest odds: void it, double it, or let it stand. A duel puts two players' fines on a coin toss, with each face showing a player's photo, and the loser pays both. Kangaroo Court turns an appeal into a jury trial: the squad votes, the tally is public, and who voted which way stays private. Each one comes with its own sound, haptics and confetti, and every result is decided on the server so nobody can cheat it.
Underneath, it is a React Native app built with Expo on a Supabase backend. Row level security guards every read, and all the game logic runs in server functions so it cannot be tampered with from a phone. It runs in English, French and Spanish, every sound in it was synthesised from scratch, and no money ever moves through the app: it keeps the tally, and the club settles up however it likes. It is free on the App Store and Google Play.
